I love Charities as much as anyone. In fact this year I am teaming up with several local Indie Authors on Facebook to support two AMAZING charities and hope that you will come and bid, or even just donate to these two charities. We are Supporting St. Jude’s Miracle Network and Kid’s Need to Read. Want more information? Click on the Facebook link below. We have books, Marvel merchandise, posters, jewelry. Autographed books, pillows… All sorts of goodies up for grabs. And all of the proceeds go to charity. Its our First Annual Event!
Do you remember?
How many of you are old enough to remember the “Be Kind, Please Rewind” campaigns of the 80s and 90s? I am. I remember having a separate VHS rewinder, so we didn’t have to wait to put the next tape in. If you don’t remember VHS, then you are either A) to young to be on my blog, B) sheltered to shit, or C) Barely Legal. But, now that we seem to be getting the point across, you never, and I mean never, returned the VHS to the rental store without rewinding the fucker. So why would you buy an e-book from an Indie author, or borrow it on Kindle Unlimited, and not review it? Not only does that hurt us — because others don’t know what you think — but also because we don’t know what you though. Did you love it? Did you hate it? Did you find so many errors that you will never read us again? We want nee, we need to know what you are thinking of our writing and what you read. It’s like oxygen to us. Food. Water… Wine in some cases. You get the gist. We need to know what you, our readers think. Do you want more of a particular character? Was there too much fighting? Blood? Gore? Not enough? Tell us. We write not just for our enjoyment, but for yours.

When you don’t watch Football…
on Sunday, what do you do? For me? I either write or read. But today? We cleaned house. Why? Why didn’t I watch football? Because the Packers play Monday Night Football, and the Cowboys won on Thanksgiving (10-1) LET’S GO BOYS! And that’s coming from Packers Nation. So, I of course had nothing better to do. I am reading this AMAZING Arc right now, that I will tell you all about later, and another book I edited just hit shelves. Y’all have GOT to read it. It is stinking hilarious. That will be getting its own review later too, BUT you need to get it RIGHT NOW while its free!!!! Souls to the Polls which you need to pick up and read and leave a review. And then tell your friends to read it too. Because it’s Amazeballs.
Until I have time to post a real review for it.

Gobble Gobble
Happy Thanksgiving! While not all of you may even be in the United States, I am sure that all of you can find something to be thankful for today. Friends? Family? Food? Maybe you finally have a lead on a good job? What are you thankful for? For me this year its my family, that my husband got his back pay for disability this year, and that my youngest is recovering from his surgery so well.
Today’s Menu is:
- Crown Apple whiskey, wild flower honey and butter turkey
- Brown sugar, pineapple, maraschino cherry, and Crown Apple Whiskey Ham
- Butternut Squash
- Sweet Potatoes
- Mashed Potatoes and Gravy
- Stuffing
- Rolls
- Apple Pie
- Pumpkin Pie
What did y’all have for Thanksgiving dinner?
Writing Music
So, I like knowing what people listen to when they write, or edit their works. Me personally? I listen to everything. I prefer metal. Five FInger Death Punch, Shinedown. Sixx AM, Metallica, Alice Cooper. I have all of them on Pandora and that is what I listen to. Having that chaos blaring in my head while I write just brings me a special kind of solace in my head that I can’t get elsewhere. And my characters don’t mind it either. They are often rocking out to it and singing along with me.
Sometimes though, if I am in the mood for something softer, I’ll put on country, or maybe even Adele. It all depends on my mood, my characters moods, and the mood of the story I am writing at the time. But I won’t listen to Christmas music, while writing Holiday stories. I know, I know. It doesn’t make sense. To you. But it does to me. :)
Happy listening. And reading.
